The solver is shown a text in which they must fill in the gaps. Each gap is a separate question and has its own evaluation matrix. The task creator first enters the text without gaps. After the initial saving of the text, an open gap icon and a mathgap icon appear among the text editor icons.
Clicking on the gap insertion icon opens a dialog window for describing the gap. After saving, a new gap appears in the text. To edit an existing gap, double-click on it. After modifying and saving the gap, the content block must also be saved.
When creating a task, the basic fields required for task entry are displayed by default. Additional options appear when clicking the 'More data' link. The additional options selected by the task creator will remain visible in the task entry view after saving.

In the content block, it is possible to insert two different types of gaps: an Open gap and a Math gap. These blanks have different settings and evaluation matrixes, which is why they are listed separately.
For the mathematical text gap, the solver can use the mathematical text input toolbar to enter mathematical symbols in the input field.
For the open gap, it is possible to define whether the solver can enter text (including numbers), only integers, or both integers and real numbers.
