The task creation process begins on the task's General Data page. To create a task, you must first complete all the fields marked with an asterisk (mandatory) in the General Data form. Once saved, the task is automatically assigned a unique ID, and content blocks can be added to it.
The general data of the task can be edited and supplemented later under the General Data tab. After making changes to any field, the form must be saved.
Description of the General Data tab
A task consists of either one or multiple content blocks. In edit mode, a table of all task types is displayed on the left side of the page, while the right side shows the content blocks added to the task, stacked vertically. In view mode, only the content blocks are displayed. To add a content block to the task, click the button with the name of the desired content block, which will open a form for configuring the content block. The content block is typically added to the task after its initial save.
The content blocks of a task are divided into:
If at least one content block has been added to the task, the Task content view displays sub-tabs:
If at least one translation language has been added to the task, radio buttons with the language names will be displayed above the content blocks. Content blocks can only be added and their order changed in the view of the source language. In the translation language view, you can add translations for the textual parts of the tasks in that language.

On the Additional Options page, you can add parameters related to task solving. For example, you can prevent users from leaving a partially completed task, display task content blocks in a random order, and more.
If the task includes rich text or a math editor, this page allows you to configure them for the user (e.g., remove unnecessary options).

If you want to assess the task as a whole across content blocks, you can use assessment aspects for this purpose. Assessment aspects must first be entered under Administration → Classifications → Assessment Aspects for the relevant subject. Once the assessment aspects have been added to the corresponding topic, they can be described here.
During the assessment, the evaluator will see the description of the aspect and can assign points accordingly.
Files in any format can be added to the task. For clarity, the files are categorized into four categories: Task files, Solution files, Source materials, and Marking files. The added files can be downloaded for viewing on this form. Marking files can be downloaded on the evaluator's assessment form.
Description of the Aspects tab
Here, you can change the task status and add other individuals to the task (translators, authors, editors).
Description of the Compilation tab
Task texts can be saved as versions, allowing you to restore modified texts from earlier versions. You can restore either the entire version or just the text of a single content block.
However, if the task structure is modified after saving a version (e.g., content blocks or questions are removed), the previous structure, removed content blocks, or questions can no longer be restored from the earlier saved version.
Description of the Text versions tab
In this subsection, a log of changes made to the task is saved. For each modification, the log displays the timestamp (date and time), the name of the person who made the change, the action performed, the old data, and the new data. The task change log is saved automatically.
Description of the History of compilation tab
If the task has been used in tests, a list of those tests will be displayed here (as links), along with the test date, the identifier of the task set containing the task, the number of participants, and the average completion percentage. If the user has access rights to the test, they can click on the test name to go directly to view the test data.
If a task has been used in a test and completed by participants, its text and content should no longer be modified. If changes are needed, a copy of the task should be created and modified instead. The old task should be archived (Compilation → Status → Change Status → Archived), so it can no longer be selected for tests.
